2026 Toyota GR Supra Hero

Courtesy of the track-driven minds at Toyota’s Gazoo Racing division, the 2026 GR Supra is here for one more model year, complete with a limited-production commemorative trim. Only 1,300 units of the MkV Final Edition will be made. Its lucky buyers will enjoy special styling and performance features such as stiffened suspension bushings, enhanced Brembo disc brakes, under-bracing, and upgraded dampers for the adaptive variable suspension system.

Purists will be thrilled to know that Toyota’s sports coupe has a six-speed manual transmission available across the lineup, while many of its competitors let the stick shift go by the wayside. Sport seats, an active rear differential, and an adaptive variable sport suspension give the GR Supra its responsive, track-inspired handling.

To help drivers enjoy their GR Supras to the fullest extent, every purchase also comes with a 1-year membership to the National Auto Sport Association and one complimentary high-performance driving experience. The GR Supra is also covered by ToyotaCare no-cost maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles of regular factory-scheduled maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, and multipoint inspections) and two years of 24-hour roadside assistance (no mileage cap).

Trims, Powertrains, and Performance

Drivers can choose from three trim levels: 3.0, 3.0 Premium, and the limited-run MkV Final Edition. This is an enthusiast’s model, complete with a rear-wheel drivetrain (RWD) and the choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Toyota’s 3.0-liter twin-scroll single-turbo inline 6-cylinder engine kicks out an exhilarating 382 horsepower and 368 lb.-ft. of torque and comes with a 155-mph speed limiter. The automatic transmission has a launch control element and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, surpassing the manual’s 4.2-second time. The manual GR Supra returns an EPA-estimated 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway, while the automatic achieves 22 city/29 highway mpg (all trims).

This track-inspired model is packed with specialized components for heightened performance. All GR Supra trims get an active exhaust, an active rear sport differential, and an adaptive variable sport suspension system with a double-joint-type MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link independent rear suspension with hollow stabilizer bars. The 3.0 receives Brembo 4-piston fixed-caliper disc front brakes with 13.7-inch ventilated rotors and single-piston aluminum floating-caliper rear disc brakes with 13-inch ventilated rotors. The 3.0 Premium adds red front calipers with the Supra logo and upgrades to single-piston cast-iron rear disc brakes with red-painted floating calipers and 13.6-inch rotors. With the manual transmission, the MkV Final Edition will get larger front rotors at 14.7 inches. With either tranny, this ultimate trim will have performance control arm bushings with rear suspension mounts, upgraded adaptive variable suspension dampers, and chassis under-bracing.

Standard Equipment

In the comfort and convenience category, the 3.0 gets an Alcantara and leather interior, heated power-adjustable sport seats with driver's-seat memory and lumbar/bolster adjustment, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an 8.8-inch digital TFT LCD gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with an integrated garage door opener, the Smart Key System with keyless entry and push-button ignition, a 1.5A USB charging port, knee support cushions, carbon-fiber interior trim, a 12-volt outlet, a luggage compartment with bag hooks, and a storage net. Automatic-transmission 3.0 also gets wireless smartphone charging. The exterior of this base trim comes with auto-folding heated outside mirrors with memory (the driver’s-side mirror auto-dims while the passenger’s-side mirror auto-tilts during reversing), full LED lighting (including 6-lens auto-leveling LED headlights), an aerodynamic underbody panel, dual rear exhaust outlets with brushed stainless-steel tips, and high-performance Michelin Pilot Super Sport summer tires on 19-inch frozen gunmetal gray forged-aluminum wheels. Only the manual 3.0 gets sport pedals and a leather-trimmed shift knob.

The 3.0 Premium is improved with leather-trimmed seats, a head-up display, a 2.1A USB charging port, and – regardless of the transmission – wireless smartphone charging and sport pedals. If you’re lucky enough to snag a MkV Final Edition, you’ll get a car cover with a GR camo design and its own storage bag as part of the deal. This trim goes back to the Alcantara and leather upholstery combo, adding red stitching and accents, red seatbelts, embroidered GR headrests, a carbon-fiber ducktail spoiler and front spats, trim-exclusive accents and badging, cupholder covers, and 19-inch matte-black forged-aluminum wheels.

Safety

Every GR Supra trim comes standard with a selection of advanced safety technologies. These consist of a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assist, vehicle stability control, brake assist, traction control, hill start assist control, directional parking lights, automatic high beams, a rearview camera with parking aid lines, and a passenger-side child restraint system.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The 3.0 gets an 8.8-inch display screen with Supra Command, USB smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth audio streaming, and SiriusXM satellite radio, channeled through a 10-speaker HiFi sound system. The 3.0 Premium and MkV Final Edition come with touchpad control and onboard navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity, and voice recognition (all of which are available on the 3.0). The two higher trims also feature a 12-speaker JBL Premium Audio HiFi Surround Sound system, as well as Toyota Supra Connect with automatic emergency calling, remote lock/ventilation, real-time traffic information, map updates, and Toyota Supra Online.
