Toyota took a daring step when it launched the ninth-generation Camry last year with only a hybrid powertrain. The move proved successful thanks to the sedan’s dynamically updated design, upscale cabin, available all-wheel drive, and exceptional fuel economy. For 2026, the Camry takes things further with the debut of the model’s first Nightshade trim. This version adds black exterior styling that gives the otherwise sensible and sedate sedan an athletic look, while 19-inch alloys fill out the muscular wheel wells. If you want an enhanced cabin experience, go for the upscale XLE or XSE grades and add the panoramic glass roof option, which is offered for the first time on the Camry.
