Trim Grades, Powertrain, and Fuel Economy

The 2025 Toyota Sienna lineup consists of the LE, XLE, XSE, Woodland Edition, Limited, and Platinum. The hybrid powertrain unites a 2.5-liter engine, an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission, a Ni-MH traction battery, and either two electric motors (front-wheel drive [FWD]) or three (all-wheel drive [AWD]). The output is 245 net combined horsepower, and the towing limit is 3,500 pounds.

FWD is standard across the entire lineup except for the Woodland Edition, which automatically gets the AWD that is optional on the other trims. All grades have a drive mode selector, enabling a personalized feel through settings for Sport, Eco, EV, and Normal. The EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings are the same across the trim lineup, with FWD yielding 36 mpg city/36 mpg highway and AWD providing 34 mpg city/36 mpg highway. One notable equipment variation can be found on the XSE, which gets a sport-tuned suspension and sport-tuned electric power steering.

Standard Amenities

Every ‘25 Sienna is outfitted with dual power-sliding doors on each side, up to 18 cup and bottle holders, and 60/40 One-Motion-Stow Split and Stow 3rd Row seats. The LE sits on 17-inch alloy wheels and has a remote keyless entry system, heated power side mirrors with blind spot warning indicators, automatic on/off LED headlights and daytime running lights, LED taillights and brake lights, a 7-inch multi-information display, wireless smartphone charging, seven USB ports (one media/six charging), a 12V DC power outlet, three-zone automatic climate control with a separate rear digital control panel, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and fabric upholstery.

The XLE is the only trim that can be configured with either a 7-passenger capacity with second-row captain’s chairs or an 8-passenger setup with a second-row bench and stowable center seat. It has four zones of automatic climate control, SofTex upholstery, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, heated front seats, a 4-way power-adjustable passenger seat, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink. It gets a smart key system with illuminated entry, a power moonroof, LED fog lights, a power liftgate, chrome-accented door handles, and hands-free power-sliding side doors. The XSE has enhanced styling and performance with standard sport seating with SofTex for all three rows and a blacked-out treatment across the metallic sport mesh grille, sport mesh rear lower bumper, badging, side mirrors, door handles, and side rocker panels. It also gets a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster LED-strip daytime running lights, premium LED taillights and brake lights, and 20-inch dark alloy wheels.

The Woodland Edition adds black roof-rail crossbars, a towing hitch receiver and wiring harness, 18-inch 6-spoke dark-finished alloy wheels, and a 1500-watt inverter with two outlets. The Limited switches up its styling with a dark-gray metallic grille, LED-strip daytime running lights, chrome roof rails, 18-inch bright alloy wheels, and chrome accenting along the door handles and rear lower bumper. Its other additions are premium leather upholstery (first and second rows), heated and ventilated front seats, second-row captain’s chairs with sliding ottomans, and power-folding side mirrors with auto-dimming, memory settings, and puddle lights.

The Platinum gets the aforementioned in-car vacuum and FridgeBox, plus heated second-row captain’s chairs, a heated leather-trimmed steering wheel, a 10-inch color head-up display, rain-sensing windshield wipers, signature bi-LED projector headlights, and 20-inch two-tone wheels. The side mirrors also add features that work in tandem with the panoramic view monitor.

Advanced Safety Tech

Regardless of trim level, the ‘25 Sienna has added protection from all angles via Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. This suite consists of a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane tracing assist, lane departure alert with steering assist, road sign assist, and automatic high beams. An advanced rear-seat reminder and blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert are also standard. The XLE and higher add front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, while the Platinum gets a panoramic view monitor (with 360-degree overhead view in low-speed drive and reverse) and Curb View, which provides a downward angle on each side of the van to help with parking and prevent wheel scrapes.

Infotainment and Connectivity

Universal tech for every ‘25 Sienna includes Bluetooth hands-free phone and voice-command, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, and trial access to Toyota’s connected services. While the base LE comes with an 8-inch color touchscreen, the XLE and above move up to a 12.3-inch touchscreen. The default sound system in the three lower trims is upgraded to a JBL unit with 12 speakers, an amplifier, and a subwoofer in the Woodland Edition, Limited, and Platinum (the XLE and XSE are eligible to gain that audio upgrade through optional packages). All but the LE can add the Entertainment Package to get a 1080p HD entertainment center with an 11.6-inch display, two sets of wireless headphones, a remote control, and an HDMI input.
