The 2025 Toyota Crown Signia comes in two trim packages: XLE and Limited. Their hybrid powertrain brings together a 240-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with dual electric motors (one per axle). The all-wheel drivetrain is controlled by an electronic continuously variable transmission (eCVT). The EPA-estimated fuel economy for both trims is 39 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. When the Crown Signia is properly equipped, it can tow up to 2,700 pounds. Cargo volume ranges from 25.8 cubic feet behind the second row to 68.8 cubic feet when the back seats are not in use and are folded down.
Toyota equips both Crown Signia grades with a long list of standard equipment. For the XLE, this includes leather upholstery, eight-way power front seats that are heated and ventilated, a heated steering wheel, a driver’s position memory system, heated rear seats, and a hands-free power liftgate. This trim also gets proximity keyless entry, push-button start, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, LED exterior lighting with automatic headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated power side mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators, low-profile roof rails, a cargo-area cover, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, wireless device charging, five USB ports (including three in the front row), and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The Limited upgrades the Crown Signia with a panoramic fixed-glass roof with a power sunshade, auto-leveling headlights, a digital rearview mirror, a digital key, rain-sensing intermittent windshield wipers, and 21-inch alloy wheels.
Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard with the 2025 Crown Signia and includes pre-collision mitigation with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, proactive driving assist (additional braking and steering support), adaptive cruise control, road sign assist, safe exit assist, automatic high beams, and a rear-seat reminder. The available driver-assistance upgrades for the Limited include front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, front cross-traffic alert, lane change assist, traffic jam assist, and a surround-view monitor. Toyota also equips every Crown Signia with eight airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, Smart Stop (to minimize unintended acceleration), hill start assist, and a rear-view monitor.
Infotainment is conveniently accessed through a 12.3-inch touchscreen that works with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. The XLE receives a six-speaker sound system as standard, while the Limited gets an 11-speaker JBL upgrade. Both trims also have access to Toyota Connected Services for a Wi-Fi hotspot, cloud-based navigation, emergency assistance, and remote features.
