Toyota didn’t change everything with the 2025 Camry, though: sedan shoppers will find a familiar lineup of trims: LE, SE, XLE, and XSE. With this variety, there’s a Camry for every budget and need. The now-standard hybrid powerplant unites a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor for the standard front-wheel-drive (FWD) configuration for a combined output of 225 horsepower. All-wheel drive (AWD) is optional on all trims, which adds an electric motor to the rear wheels and increases output to 232 horsepower. An electronic continuously variable transmission (eCVT) controls both drivetrains.
The FWD Camry LE has been rated by the EPA to achieve 53 mpg in the city and 50 mpg on the highway. The other trims with FWD are estimated to return 44-48 city/43-47 highway. The Camry LE with AWD is rated for 51 mpg around town and 49 mpg on the open road. When they’re equipped with AWD, the other trims are rated for 46-48 city/43-46 highway.
The 2025 Camry LE’s equipment list includes remote start, fabric upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED projector-style headlights, push-button start, heated power side-view mirrors, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless device charging, four USB ports (two per row), a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The SE adds sportiness with a sport-tuned suspension, upholstery in a blend of fabric and SofTex leatherette, an eight-way power driver’s seat, a rear spoiler and other unique exterior treatments, aluminum sport pedals, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift knob, an additional front-row USB port, and 18-inch alloy wheels with a black finish.
The XLE takes on a more luxurious flavor, building on the LE’s features with proximity keyless entry, full LED exterior lighting, leather and microfiber-upholstered seating surfaces, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an eight-way power front seat, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, noise-reducing side glass, unique exterior accents, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, ambient cabin lighting, an additional front-row USB port, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The XSE combines the premium features of the XLE with the sportiness of the SE, with an upgrade to 19-inch wheels.
The latest version of Toyota Safety Sense comes standard across the 2025 Camry lineup. The technologies within this grouping are forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane-tracing assist, proactive driving assist (provides gentle braking and steering support), adaptive cruise control, road sign assist, and automatic high beams. All trims also have blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit assist, and rear seat reminder. The XLE and XSE are eligible to be upgraded with a surround-view monitor, traffic jam assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, lane change assist, rear cross-traffic braking, and front cross-traffic alert. All trims get eight airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, hill start assist control, and a rearview monitor with dynamic guidelines.
The 2025 Camry LE and SE have an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system while the XLE and XSE upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen (the SE is eligible for the larger unit as an option). Both systems are accompanied by a six-speaker audio system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. All trims have access to Toyota Connected Services for a Wi-Fi hotspot, cloud navigation, emergency support, vehicle monitoring, and remote features.
