EV Powertrain

The ’23 bZ4X will feature a fully electric powertrain that produces 201 horses with front-wheel drive and 214 hp with all-wheel drive. In terms of driving range, the XLE trim with FWD will be able to travel up to 252 miles on a single charge while returning an EPA-estimated 131 MPGe (miles per gallon of gasoline equivalent) in the city and 107 MPGe on the highway. Also of note, AWD bZ4Xs will feature the novel X-MODE, a traction-optimizing system that controls each wheel separately to hold the road in a variety of driving situations (the settings are snow/dirt and snow/mud). The X-MODE system also pairs with Grip-Control, a sort of low-speed off-road cruise control.

Charging

Plenty of charging options will be available for the 2023 bZ4X, including 120V, 240V, and DC rapid.
