Meet Jay Warren, Colonial Toyota Service Director
Earlier this year, we added Jay Warren to our Colonial Toyota service team, and we couldn’t be happier. In his position as Service Director, Jay is dedicated to better serving each customer who walks through the door, by providing a first-class service experience. This starts by listening to what the customer wants and expects from us. If the customer asks to be in and out in under an hour for a routine service appointment, Jay and his team want to make that happen. His goal is to make sure they are delivering the best experience possible in the shortest amount of time.
Jay’s commitment to his craft comes from over three decades of industry experience. Recently, we sat down with Jay to learn a little more about him and we wanted to share with you, our valued Colonial Toyota customers.
How many years have you been in the automotive industry? 31 years
When and where did you begin in the automotive industry? Were you always on the service side? In 1986, I started as a shipper/receiver @ Foreign Motors West Natick, MA.… Back then, we handled BMW/MB/Rolls Royce/ and Peugeot at the same location. I didn’t enter the service side until 2005 @ Lexus of Warwick
What makes your experience an asset to Colonial Toyota? I feel that learning all sides of the business helps you understand the guest wants and needs.
How do you bring your luxury automotive experience to Colonial Toyota? My experience at Lexus was all about the guest. I feel that the experience needs to be greater than just repairing the vehicle.
We want customers for life, and to do that you need to give the guest what they desire. Everyone is different and it is up to the team to learn what that is.
Favorite aspect of the industry? Opportunity to meet new people, make friends for life. Help my team grow and prosper.
What’s something you’d want Colonial customers to know about you? I am married to my high school sweetheart and I have 3 great kids ages 18,13, and 10. I coach high school volleyball. I love all New England sports teams, especially the Boston Bruins. Ultimately I just want to help people, with whatever they need.
