The 2025 GR Supra’s trim choices are straightforward: 3.0 and 3.0 Premium. Both editions get the aforementioned turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 382 horsepower and 368 lb.-ft. of torque. This rear-wheel-drive speedster is available with a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The EPA’s official estimated fuel economy ratings reflect 23 mpg in city driving and 31 on the highway with the automatic transmission and 19 mpg around town and 27 mpg on the open road with the stickshift.
The 2025 GR Supra 3.0 is far from an entry-level vehicle, thanks to an extensive roster of standard equipment that includes proximity keyless entry, carbon-fiber interior accents, a mix of Alcantara and leather upholstery, heated power sport seats, separate automatic climate control for each occupant, a driver’s memory system, and LED exterior lighting. This edition also comes with an 8.8-inch digital instrument display, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, push-button ignition, heated auto-folding power side mirrors with reverse tilt-down, cruise control, an aerodynamic underbody panel, a USB port, wireless device charging (except the 3.0 with automatic transmission), an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and 19-inch forged aluminum wheels. The 3.0 with the automatic transmission is eligible for the Safety & Technology Plus JBL; see the next two sections for details on what’s added within that optional bundle. The Premium adds full leather upholstery, a color head-up display, sport pedals, and an additional USB port.
The 2025 GR Supra includes numerous advanced driver aids for a more secure behind-the-wheel experience. These technologies include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. An optional package adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors. The 3.0 with an automatic transmission can add the Safety & Technology Plus JBL Package to get a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors with emergency braking, speed limit information, and dynamic radar cruise control. Every GR Supra gets a set of airbags, anti-lock brakes, hill start assist control, stability control, traction control, and a rearview camera with parking aid lines.
The 3.0 has an 8.8-inch display screen that’s controlled through Supra Command (a rotary knob), but it’s eligible for the optional Safety & Technology with JBL Package, which upgrades the system with touch capability, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, Supra Connected Services, and a 500-watt namesake JBL sound system with a dozen speakers and an amplifier. The 3.0 Premium gets those upgrades as standard equipment. Every GR Supra has Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and access to connected services (for emergency help, remote vehicle access, and other features). The sound system in the 3.0 features ten speakers, while the 3.0 Premium boasts a 12-speaker JBL arrangement.
