Trims and Powertrain

The 2023 Toyota GR Supra is a two-door, rear-wheel-drive sports car made in four trims: 2.0, 3.0, 3.0 Premium, and A91-MT. The 2.0 gets its namesake 2.0-liter twin-scroll single-turbo four-cylinder engine, which puts out 255 hp and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. The 3.0, 3.0 Premium, and A91-MT move up to a 3.0-liter twin-scroll single-turbo V6 making 382 hp and 368 lb.-ft. of torque. Most trims have a standard eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters; but the 3.0 and 3.0 Premium will be the choice for hands-on drivers who’ve been waiting for Toyota to add a six-speed manual gearbox (the A91-MT only comes with the manual tranny, hence the “MT” suffix).

Features by Trim Level

The base 2.0 is well-equipped on the exterior with dual exhaust outlets with stainless steel tips, 18-inch dual-tone wheels with high-performance Michelin Pilot Super Sport summer tires, LED headlights, gloss-black heated side mirrors with driver’s-side auto-dimming and passenger-side reverse gear tilt-down, and proximity entry (aka Smart Key). Inside, it has push-button ignition, an 8.8-inch digital gauge cluster, black Alcantara leather-trimmed sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, carbon-fiber trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, a 12-volt charging outlet, and a USB port.

The 3.0 gains an active rear sport differential, an adaptive variable sport suspension, 19-inch wheels with Brembo brakes, matte-black auto-folding side mirrors with memory, and heated and power-adjustable sport seats with driver’s position memory. The 3.0 Premium adds Brembo brakes with red calipers and a silver “TOYOTA” logo, black leather-trimmed sport seats, sport pedals, an upgraded USB port, and a wireless phone charger. The new A91-MT builds off that trim with a unique red “Supra” badge, an Alcantara-wrapped shift knob, and cognac-colored leather-trimmed seats. The 3.0 Premium and A91-MT are eligible for the available head-up display.

Safety-Enhancing Driving Aids

All trims get a series of advanced driving aids, including hill start assist, a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Dynamic radar cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors with emergency braking are available across the board.

Entertainment and Connectivity

The 2023 Toyota GR Supra has a full infotainment setup in every trim level. The 2.0 gets an 8.8-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a four-speaker sound system. The 3.0 adds a 10-speaker sound system, while the 3.0 Premium and A91-MT are upgraded with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, and a 12-speaker JBL audio system, all of which are available options in the 2.0 and 3.0.
