It has an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a front-wheel drivetrain. According to EPA estimates, the ’21 Corolla Hybrid returns exceptional fuel economy of 53 miles per gallon around town and 52 mpg on the highway.

The Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 (TSS 2.0) bundle of driver-assist features comes standard on the ’21 Corolla Hybrid. This safety-enhancing technology bundle consists of a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, automatic high beams, road sign assist, lane tracing assist, and full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control. A blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert is available.
